Oh I love this so much! I actually do believe that cats are magical beings. They are difficult to understand and fiercely independent, which is why some people prefer dogs. But cats have the ability to go wherever they choose and the intelligence to always find their way home. Like Mary Poppins, They stay with us as long as they deem we need them and then they go. Loving cats is incredibly rewarding but also scary in the knowledge that they can leave if they want to. There is no better feeling in the world though, than when a cat comes to lie on you and purrs when you need comfort the most. They are also highly absorbent for tears, just by the way!
