Hello everyone, how are you doing today, dear readers of our results (even if it seems like no one’s actually reading our walking efforts)? Today, I don’t know about you, but I was freezing — and I kept thinking all day how lucky I am to work indoors.
I kept thinking all day, “Can this workday please just end already?” I was running around nonstop and couldn’t take it anymore. Luckily, I’ve now got two well-deserved days off — though I’m already dreading the pile of hours and tasks waiting for me when I go back in two days. The bright side? It’ll only be a four-day workweek, followed by five full days of rest. That’s definitely going to do me some good.
Do you ever feel like you just can’t take your repetitive, exhausting job anymore, but there’s nothing better out there right now? You tell yourself that even if you don’t love what you do, at least it’s a stable paycheck every month — and without it, things could be a lot worse.
Thankfully, there are a few days off here and there, maybe a vacation or two, just enough to remind you that life isn’t all that terrible. Your routine might be draining and dull, but it could be much worse.
At least you’re not living in a war zone or facing famine, and even if life isn’t perfect, you somehow manage to find contentment in it.
Anyway, enough of the little depressive rant — let’s switch to something more cheerful: today I actually managed to pass 10,000 steps, and now I can go numb my brain with a mini-game.
