Its bye bye to the old town hall building. It is finally being demolished, having been left empty for a few years after the new town hall was built next door.
Times change! I wonder what is planned for the site 🤔. Probably another block of flats, not that it would be a bad thing with all the homelessness around but better than another office block!
I have seen several grand new town plans get shelved over the years. It's a shame because the buildings are getting old now and show it! A lot of them were built back in the 1950s when our town was declared a 'new' town.
