Wow! We have had two whole days of rain now. Not continuous, but when it rains, it rains heavily. This is typical autumnal showery conditions for these latitudes and of course we are right in the firing line of the atlantic conveyer and jet stream. These strong, high altitude winds drive low pressure systems our way which leave us with the very unsettled conditions.
This situation can change again to dry spells at any time. This is one of the joys of living in the UK!
