It's time to continue my spring watch. A walk around the grounds of Guildford Hospital every two weeks.
Not a lot has changed since I last came but a few things are evident. There are a few small shrubs that look ready to burst their buds, and plenty of shoots appearing in the soil.

Lots of catkins hanging in the breeze. I walked along the road to explore the area a bit more as this is quite a large site, with many different buildings, home to research institutions.

Hopefully, there will be more to see in a couple of weeks when I next visit. Spring has many surprises up it's sleeve and it is good to watch and walk around a place like this away from my familiar surroundings.

Berries are still clinging to branches in places, a remarkable sight after all the rain we have had!
