While in Guildford today, I had some time to take a short walk. I ventured into some woodland adjacent to the research park but it was hard going after the rain which made the ground too wet for the footware that I was wearing 😅.

After taking the tunnel under the railway, I decided to give up and exit this muddy area and take the drier route back via some housing estates.

The woodland was looking very lush and healthy after the rain though! The moss has covered everything.

My main picture shows a sculpture near the hospital main entrance. It depicts a series of railway sleepers sculpted into bridges. I assume these bridges are local ones but there is no plaques to confirm this.

In the coming weeks, when the ground dries up, I aim to complete the walk through the park to explore more of this area.
