We finally had the opportunity to view the interia of Guildford cathedral. It was my first visit of this impressive building.
First impressions were that it was so big!

It was difficult to get a picture that gives a good perspective. The arches supporting the roof were so high! An impressive sight.

There were corridors at each side separated by the immense supporting pillars. This provided a route to the other parts of the building, and also to view the tll windows. The cathedral did not have much stained glass which surprised me but there was a few small ones here and there as we found in this smaller chapel in one of the wings.

I'm glad I visited the cathedral and learned about its history. A modern design but very impressive nonetheless!
