Look at this tree covered in blossoms of small white flowers. It looks like a snow shower has passed by and left a powdering of the white stuff. A real sight for sore eyes. When winter blues are still being felt, particularly for us here in the UK with rain, rain and more rain. Yes, it rained again today after a dry start but when I spotted this tree from a hotel window, it reminded me that winter is nearly over.
While travelling around our local area, there are numerous places where new ponds and even lakes have appeared! All due to this recent deluge of rain 😀.
Some have partially cut-off road access. Since travelling back and forth to Guildford over the last few months a main road has been reduced to a single lane with traffic lights in place. The problem is lack of drainage with water runoff flooding the road on one side.
Of course, all of this will be a forgotten memory soon anyway when the weather changes as it always does! 😆
