Back to the wet weather today. Maybe just for today, I hope. The grassland tracks were starting to dry up a bit so this will delay the process a bit.

Footpaths emerge from thickets into a field and then run alongside the hedge before going back into a wood again. Sometimes it is worth taking a shortcut like this but it can be sticky right now.

None of this puts me off though. I like to get away from the busy roads whenever I can. As much for the peacefulness as anything 😁.
