So another bank holiday monday arrives with the question- what to do?

Well, we have two large supermarkets within 10 minutes walk, but opposite directions. One requires walking through a small park with a cricket ground and a childrens playground. So we chose that one, to enjoy the greenery on the way.

As we walked along the pathway we spotted several rats! 🐀. Not a pleasant sight but perhaps not surprising either! These days, with all the litter and fast food outlets, the rats thrive! 🐀🐀🐀🐀🐀.

Monday Bank Holiday? Is it because of the First Monday of the Month? Or any other reason?

We have eight bank holiday days in the UK. There are two in May. The first one is known as Early May bank holiday and is the first monday in the month.
