A strange day for weather. There is a transition now from hot sunny conditions to cool and unsettled. So I was not surprised to feel a little rain as I walked into Goffs Park this afternoon.
Since my last visit there has been some work done on some of the tracks and paths. All the paths in my photos were previously just stony and bare ground . A real improvement with the tarmac!
The manor house is sadly empty and boarded up. Once home to our town museum, which has been relocated nearer to the town centre. The building is owned by the town council but I don't know what the plans are for it's future.
Water levels are low in the lake, as they are everywhere now. Some reservoirs are at critical levels, caused by low rainfall.
I enjoyed the walk today. It was also good to give Health Connect a good run to check that steps are syncing ok. So far, so good. 👍
