A few weeks ago I had some digestion problem, from food poisoning to Gerd. I could not eat what I liked and what I wanted, everything had to be good and healthy, and of course they came with lame taste.
But everything had got better last week. I could start eating good food again, and I did not that fool anyway. I still limited myself and avoided certain food such as spicy ones, acid ones, and food with many peppers. All things that could harm my half healed stomach.
As I have eaten back my regular meals, I have met back things that I dislike too. One of them is this, fucking ice tea scam.
This was one of them. It could be a good ice tea, but the outlet was too greedy and they used Ice Tea to scam people. This was one of the worst Ice Tea Scam I had in the last two years. You could see that maybe 85% of the drink was ice cubes lol.
I could only sip two or three times there and the tea was already dried. What was left was a bunch of ice block, filled more than 80% of the glass.
So why would I call it Fucking Ice Tea Scam? The outlet or restaurant was just looking for profit right? Well in most part of Jakarta, Indonesia, if you order Ice Tea or Sweet Ice Tea in some rice hut or budget meal stalls, they tend to scam you like this.
It is their sick mentality, they charged you for the ice cubes and sugar, then ripped the most of it. Plain hot tea is free, sweet hot tea has a price, usually goes for 3000-5000 rupiah (less than 0.3 USD) the same as Plain Ice Tea, Sweet Ice tea could go for 5000 to 7000 rupiah, or around 0.3-0.45 USD.
They know people who buy for ice tea are people with more budget, richer than most customer. So they get this urge to get the profit from these people, and more extra profits by ripping of the spec, reducing tea and sugar by replacing them with ice cubes which literally is a lot cheaper.
Yeah, that's my rant here, I have a bad mood due to the inflammation I have in my right shoulder. Hopefully tomorrow it will get better.
