Greeting Everyone, especially my Fellow Splinterlands Summoners
Another week, another brawl. In the current era, Splinterlands is not only about daily or seasonal rank battle, whether it is a wild rank or a modern rank battle. This game is about 3 things, rank battle, brawl battle and tournaments.
If you want to earn a good amount of $SPS, you can not rely on one mode of battle only. If participating in 3 mode is too time consuming for you, then try on two. The most important one is Brawl. I know this sounds funny, but I believe brawl is worth more than your daily rank battle.
A rank battle will give you a decent $SPS earning if you manage to play on Gold League level, below that... I dare to say that unless you enjoy the game, you won't get anything worthy.
So here I share my last brawl result.
I got 187 $SPS from my last brawl. In a season we have around 3 brawls, so I can say I get about $500 SPS a season from brawls, which each doesn't consume my time more than half an hour.
Last Brawl was a good one for me, I won 5 battles out of 9, which meant I got more wins than loses.
It became a good result regarding I play Fray 24, The max level Gold Foil frays. Everyday I meet best of the best players, a bunch of Splinterlands Whales. So taking more wins than loses is definitely awesome.
I used to play on lower league Gold Foils, and lost only one or two battles only. But life must move on, I needed to level up, and gave space to new players or existing players that might play better than me on that spot.
Anyway the recent tournament shows this result, which means I still have what it needs to compete in highest level. I am still dangerous in bronze and silver league level cap. Honestly I am not the best, but I still one of the players that can be considered at the highest level.
Ok enough for my personal bragging, last brawl my Guild finally can get back to mid table again in Tier 5
We have been struggling to maintain mid table regarding some of the old players have retired or maybe taking a holiday. Some also are struggle in Conclave Arcana edition adaptation.
However with this result I hope it is a good sign of getting back on track. I hope next brawl we can keep up with our performance and maybe getting an extra outstanding players to push up our performance. We still don't have all frays filled.
So guys, if you are in need of great guild to compete in Tier 5, drops a message in comment below. However perfomance is needed here, not only activity, ok!
HIGHLIGHTED BATTLE
It won't be a good splinterlands post if I do not share one of my victory in those brawl battles. This was a battle I won from @stokjockey , he is a great players with many great cards. It just that in that battle, I manage to outsmart his meta...
He came with Mylor, one of my favorite old summoner, together with Lorna. Level 8 Mylor, is not a joke. That's an expensive card! But it is a wise choice during Melee Mayhem ruleset.
I came with Akane, a legendary summoner from Rebellion edition. This dragon summoner has one unique charateristic, which is her ability of giving 2 unit an ambush ability. This would be a surprise which might decide the battle from the early phase.
Let's see how this battle goes, how my Akane would outsmart her opponent
- The battle starts with both side buffing their team and debuffing their opponent. They came as a whole melee only team, while mine was like a mix of melee and magic.
- They came with 11 melee damage, and 2 magic damage. Combined all they became 13 damage per round.
- My team comes with 3 melee damage, 4 armor damage and 4 magic damage, combined all it became 11 damage per round.
- Textbook wise, their team was better, they had a full line up of 6 units. mine only 5. But here came the Akane ability! You can see above, their Quora Towershead came with 6 health point, she got hit twice first from the ambushes
- Then she died without having any opportunity to do anything. Pufff, there she gone!
- Round 2 started without Quora Towershead, and the rest of their units were small one. This looked bad for their side.
- The gap was getting wider, they could not do anything without their Quora Towershead
- round 4 was not the last round but I cut it here. It's just a matter of time before they got wiped out. Good Game.
Ok that's my brawl battle using Akane and outsmarted my opponent who used Mylor. The battle was decided on whose meta was better with the related rulesets.
