In my opinion? Maui Jim made a grave mistake when the company that purchased it decided to do away with the ophthalmic frames and lenses which they also allowed the sunglass lenses to be installed in.

Their lenses, both sun and eveyday clear type, are some of the best optics in the industry. Switching back to sun only in sunglass frames only, was a sad thing as far as my patients and I am concerned! What a company perceives as an improvement isn't always so!
