It is unfortunately, in human nature to be jealous of and/or want that which is not ours to have (such as the boyfriend scenario) If we are not right spiritually, then chances are this will come up again and again. Jealousy can turn folks into creatures we didn't even know we could possibly be.

I agree with you that true female friendship is rare, but all the more reason to cherish it when you do have it.
