So a little known AI - Crypto project suddenly ballooned in price after the crypto storm seemed to die down. If you don't know, Freysa AI (FAI) is an innovative cryptocurrency project built on the Base blockchain, centered around a sovereign AI agent named Freysa. Launched as an on-chain social experiment in late 2024, Freysa functions as the world's first autonomous AI that holds its own cryptographic keys, enabling independent action without human oversight.
As of early March 2026, FAI trades around $0.009 USD, with a market cap of approximately $70–80 million (ranking in the top 300 cryptocurrencies). It has shown explosive volatility, including over 100% gains in 24 hours during recent pumps, driven by community hype and AI-crypto narrative interest.
It's a pretty interesting project that I even dropped some cash on. I've been following it closely and it is already offering options for people to use its services that it funds. Interesting stuff if you're interested.
