😎 Hello! Hello! 😎

________________________

It may not be the prettiest park, nor the largest or most striking, but it is Andrés Eloy Blanco Recreational Park, a place where all of us who live in the city have gone, visited, and shared experiences. This park was abandoned for many years, where weeds, neglect, and crime ran rampant. Today, it is a recovered space, and as part of our work anniversary celebration, we did some outdoor activities, so I invite you to come and see it with me.

It is located in the city of Puerto la Cruz; in fact, it occupies a large part of the area and connects with several surrounding areas that have made life there.

It is a park like many others with trees, walkways, and spaces for enjoyment.

Upon entering, we are faced with the question: Where are we going? If we are at the entrance, to the left we have the parking lot, recreation areas, and the cafeteria.

We looked ahead and saw the bridge over the lake, as well as the paths to the nearby residential areas and the spaces suitable for cycling throughout the park. Following the bridge, there are soccer fields and basketball courts, which are next to a school on that side. I didn't go that far because, as I said, I still felt that alone, I couldn't stray too far.

What a blessing these people must have when they wake up every morning and enjoy this free view of nature and tranquility.

I was amazed at how well the park has been restored. I am literally talking about a place that was abandoned and overgrown with weeds. Today, park rangers live in that park. They are people who study, graduate, and work to protect the environment and natural resources. All of them perform duties within the park and have gradually been conditioning their areas for everyone to enjoy. That is true love for nature 💚.

At the entrance, you can see some animals that they rescued, and they keep them as a kind of mini zoo. There I saw some monkeys, some ducks (geese), and I don't know if you know this bird, but in my country it is called PARAULATA. Known for their noisy song:

There are many activities to do in the park. It opens to the public very early, and I saw people running, doing CrossFit, playing soccer, training, riding bikes, and participating in various vacation programs where they learn about caring for nature.

My team was taken to the nursery, where they have many ornamental and medicinal plants. The good thing is that with 50 bags, you can take one home.

The park has changed so much that now everything is done with a purpose. It's not just about going there and visiting, but there are guided activities, and we got to plant a tree, with the promise of taking care of it and watching it grow; a whole reforestation process for future generations. Our plant is called LEARNING:

Nature blends with technology, and the park provides entertainers who engage visitors in dynamic activities to make their visit enjoyable.

At this point, my feelings of insecurity disappeared due to the number of police officers guarding the facilities. They tell you where to walk, they keep an eye on you if you are walking alone, and they constantly monitor the parking area. It really is well protected on all sides.

I remembered that there is a dome there (in my country it is called a shell because of the acoustic sound it produces) where they held renowned events such as award ceremonies, symphony orchestra concerts, and beauty pageants. I walked over there and everything looks so beautiful that I will leave it to you to appreciate:

We will soon be holding an academic event there, with the participation of the park's care staff. In addition, we will be teaching a class on mountaineering. The park has something for everyone! 😎

Well, I wanted to leave these photos until last because I loved this green area that is sprouting up, and the rain has helped it to truly look like a park. Iguanas are the kings of these spaces, so you must respect them and not make them feel cornered:

Oh! I almost forgot, take a look at this photo, because if you look closely, you'll see that the sea is crossing it. That's why this park has always been a landmark due to its location and natural beauty. I hope they maintain it and it continues to flourish as it has until now.

![Spanish version]

¡Oh!

So I spent a special day in a place I hadn't visited in years, and I'm sure I'll be back, because one day isn't enough to see it all.

The photographs are my property.
I made the cover, banner, and divider in Canva.
I used DeepL as my translator.

Until next time 🌱.

Looks like they have turned an abandoned park into a beautiful one!

A quite large place it seems! It needs a lot of time to cover all the areas!

Thanks for giving us a photographic tour!

!ALIVE

That's the beauty of it: they've done so much with very little, and they keep working. It's all a matter of the visiting public taking care of it, too. Thanks for reading and commenting 🤗.

The park is beautiful and large. To see it all in a non-rushed manner would take several days. Thank you for the tour.

!ALIVE

Yes, there are many that I didn't have time to check out. Thanks for your comment and reading. Best regards.

That's really good to hear that this park was recovered, and is now given care and love. Everything grows well with care and love. I think that it's very cool too that you could plant a tree there, that you'll tend as it grows. Thanks a lot for sharing this park, my friend, it looks and sounds like a wonderful place indeed. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Yes, that activity caught my attention because it's not just about using the park, but also leaving the gift of planting a tree for future generations. Thank you for reading and commenting 🤗.

Indeed, I love the idea. It also gives people a feeling of being a part of the park, which is what inspires care. Absolutely, you're most welcome, my friend, I'm happy to have paid you a visit. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
