On this ALT2K Wednesday we each pick a different band & record from said band & pick a DailyJam & BonusJam off them.
Ashlee picks the band “METRIC” & the 2008 released record “Fantasies”. Picking the tune “Front Row” as her DailyJam. For BonusJam it’s the song “Sick Muse”. Ashlee picked this album on a previous ALT2K Wednesday so she left off her favorite song “Alive” since she’s picked it in the past, it’s the bands best known tune and a fan favorite so we’ll throw it below for a Bonus Tune!
I (Gene) pick the band White Lies
And go with a record from the same year as Ashlee! White Lies 2009 Debut record “ To Lose My Life ...” I pick the second track “To Loose My Life” as my DailyJam! Then I skip a few tracks and pick “E.S.T.” As my BonusJam! My two favorite tunes on the record! The band has an eighties post punk vibe or at least borrows heavy influences from that era!
