The Gospel is meant by God to be preached freely, no payment whatsoever is to be made to receive the preaching of God. In the book of II Corinthians 11:7: Apostle Paul preaced the gospel without charging money which shows that true ministers of Christ do not demand money from believers for preaching the gospel.
Now coming to the question: Is it biblical for christains to pay tithe?The answer is yes. Tithes are to be paid according to the bible. Hebrews 7:9: made us to understand that the Levi whose descendants were instructed to collect tithes according to the law of Moses, but under the new covenant, the law have changed. Giving of tithes is from heart and no longer made compulsory by the law.
Therefore, as christians it is biblical to pay tithes. We are not commanded to pay tithes but to give cheerfully, willingly and according to our ability.
In conclusion, for us to open doors of divine blessings and upliftment in our lives and businesses, we need to pay our tithes with cheerful heart.
