When I was finishing up my post in Čigoč, the village of storks, I wrote that the next day I would present the traditions of the Sučić family. However, in the meantime, my exhibition with the expectation of a meteor shower came up, so today it's the latter's turn.

One of the must-see places in Čigoč is the ethnological collection of the Sučić family. Housed in a traditional Posavina house, this collection lovingly preserves the spirit of times gone by.
Inside, you can see original objects of everyday life, antique clothing, tools and furniture – witnesses to the rich history and customs of this region. With a warm welcome from the hosts, you will experience how people used to live in Posavina.
The Sučić family collection is listed on the List of Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Croatia. It is recognized as one of the most important ethnographic testimonies of this region, and in terms of the number of objects it contains, it ranks among the four richest collections in Croatia.
