Kapela - a Place in the Heart of Croatia at 888 m above Sea Level

in Photography Loversyesterday

Good day dear Friends and Photography Lovers 🙌📸

At an altitude of 888 meters above sea level, I spent an hour in the untouched nature of the Croatian mountains, right next to the plaque that still stands proudly, all covered in holes, riddled with bullet holes during the Homeland War. It is both a symbol of man's connection with nature, but also a symbol of patriotism. Surrounded by forests and meadows, the chapel offers a breathtaking view, especially at sunset when the mountain peaks shine with golden hues. Visitors often come here on foot, through paths that tell stories about local traditions and the long history of this region. Whether you come for spiritual silence or simply want to enjoy the mountain air and panorama, this place at 888 m above sea level provides an experience to remember.

The last few photos show a bunker that was built, guarded, and defended for the passage of the Croatian lifeline.

I took the photos with a Nikon D750, 50mm lens, f/1.8, manual mode, RAW format required, variable ISO and shutter speed. Processing in Photoshop Action-Black&White3 and Camera Raw Filter.

This is all for Today, see you soon!

While climbing the mountain, you managed to take some pictures of the old building which looks very unique.

Thank you so much dear @ridor5301 ❤️
