The doctrine of "everything happens for good" is in full effect for me right now. With my gratefulness campaign, I was hopeful that my good vibes would just propel me over every obstacle - but that's just not how the real world works.
I took my exam yesterday, did a practice test at home (got 90%), left the house and got to the testing center early. Feeling good, I went through all the massive security (like TSA level security), I sat down at the desk to take the computer test. 100 questions, all multiple choice. Feeling really good until about question 63. That was my first "I have no clue, I gotta guess" question. Hmm. Then a few more! When the 2 hour time limit was almost up, I reviewed my answers. Some I felt confident about, others not so much.
After 30+ hours of studying over the last week, surely there will be no unknowns here. Why weren't these covered in the study material? Not on the practice exam. I really did NOT want to guess any answers. But to get 76% shouldn't be too hard. In my practice exams, I was getting 85 - 90 consistently, even with a few guesses.
Surely, it'll be a pass!
Oh, so close! Literally ONE POINT away from passing.
I spoke with my sister who took a similar test 2 years ago, she described her study: live zoom calls, a paper book and several weeks of study. She passed her first time. I suppose only relying on only the "pre-licensure" study/exam may not be enough for a sure-fire pass.
I rescheduled another exam for Monday. Sadly, it's another $$ and another drive out there to take the test. I have a few more days to absorb the material, so next time I take it it'll be an easy PASS.
I did get an encouraging message from my business associates:
Gotta study, keep positive, remain GRATEFUL and study some more.

Teach Your Children Liberty from Sin
We encourage parents to teach their children principles of Godliness, beginning with the Word and an understanding who God is and what His Son has done to form a relationship with us.
No one can lay a foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, or straw, his workmanship will be evident, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will prove the quality of each man’s work. 1 Corinthians 3:11-13
Teach Your children Liberty from Tyranny
Second to this is the principle of self-determination and freedom, lest we loose the ability to teach our children the first principle in future generations.
Our children read the Tuttle Twin books, specifically to learn libertarian principles, which most people learn later in life. These books are useful for our family, and yours, to teach children concepts that seem complicated, but are made simple in these books.
I am an affiliate for Libertas Publishing, your purchase will help our family grow financially.
