Second season of October month has begun in Splinterlands. It's amaze me how fast this year has passed, as after two and half month we will celebrating the new year. The October which is also known as Uptober in crypto space failed very badly this year. All were hopping for the up trend but things happened opposite to that. The Splinterlands game assets also effect by same and we have seen that SPS which is a governance token in Splinterlands ecosystem also fall and touching new lowers. This is not a panic situation if you are a long term investor and it's a buying opportunity for them (I am not a financial advisor so do your own research also). At present their are 1.51 Billion SPS token are in circulation and out of that almost 1 Billion are in staked condition which is almost 66% of total supply. The remaining liquid which is approximately 34% are trading at 0.0065 in the market. The staking number are very good, what do you get form those number. First is the people are staking more, is this because of the trust players has in the game? Their may be another reason also, the players are enjiy8the staking rewards. Or the game requirement of earning more when we stake more is the reason? I guess this is combination of all not one reason is dominating. The web3 game are different form the web2 and the major difference attached is the chance of earning token.
Previous Season Recap and Game Progress
The current season of Splinterlands is over now, and it is obviously the time to collect the reward. I am glad that I made it to the Diamond League before the season ending. The current season is just started and this time I am sharing the previous season progress report in the initial days of season itself. At present I am battling in the Gold II league. I am trying to Unlock the Champion III league every season and its not a easy task for me.
In the last season I participated in three Brawls and earned 148.179 SPS and 15,533 Merits form the Brawl, The SPS earnign form the Braw play has been increased but the Merit earning had been decreased as compere to previous season. At present I am holding 430,999 Merits in game wallet. Last season was also ended in Diamond League II. The Diamond rank was 362 and the rating was 3320. In last season I played the 419 battles in total and out of 419 battles won the 207 battles.
Lets talk about the last season end reward.

In the last season, I was able to earned slightly higher then 15k Glint rewards which are slightly more as compare to the season before the last season.
Land Production
Still no change in the Land production. I am getting more involved in the Frontier game mode and trying to complete all three daily quests. It took maximum portion of by spare time. May be in coming holidays will get some time to work on Land and will be able too made it productive. My plan are to focus on Grain Production which is the most important element of the game and then the spells which give the ability to craft new cards. Of course I have to invest some DEC also to make it happened.
Following three Legendary Cards (form Neutral, Death and Water splinter) pulled form previous season loot chests. Kulu Matermind looks awesome and Drybone Raider looks dangerous. Waiting for Gold Foil Legendary.
Rental Earnings
Rental earning are not good as most of the cards has been moved to lands. This season the rental is almost zero. Card are more productive on lands in my opinion.
In last season earned 56 DEC token as Rental Income using the Splex.gg.
