Their were two good news I love to share with the Splinterlands community which not only shoes the popularity of the game among the play2earn community on "X" but also a exciting gift for the players. I was going through the splinterlands posts and come across a post by @citimillz which was about a twitte by play2earn account. The account shared the ranking of game by their popularity and the twitte on 14h Jan shows that the Splinterlands was ranked on first position. This is a significant impact on the game ecosystem in many ways. The Splinterlands game was lunched in the year 2018 and now we are in year 2026 which means the game has seen the crypto cycle (crypto winter) more then once in past 6 years. We have seen the fall of many other play2earn game but the Splinterlands has prove to the market that they has a sustainable working model. Ranking top position has direct effect on game as the new players and investors comes to such sites and their are good chance that they will visit the game and may be become the part of game. Such visibility surely help in onboarding the new players in the game. This is a motivation for the existing players also. Below is the link to the twitte.

Second exciting news is that from January 13th, the players form the frontier mode and one more reason to play the game. The frontier mode is designed for the new players but its open for the existing players also. The team has introduced four brand new Frontier Jackpot cards. Those cards are from each rarity and they will appear randomly in the Frontier daily reward chests. those cards are exclusively available in the reward chests only and are/will not be part of the packs, eve they are not part of existing daily rewards, that means they are the extra rewards the players can get form completing the daily quests. Below are the cards and I am curious to know why their is not any card form the team Green?
Below is the screenshot form the official post explaining the Jackpot Mint Population. Each card is available in Regular Foil, Gold Foil, Black Foil, Gold Foil Archon and Black Foil Archon.
Have you noticed that their will be only one copy of the Legendary Black Foil Archon cards. The card will be going to one of the arrest card in Splinterlands ecosystem.
Previous Season Recap and Game Progress
We have completed the wo days in the current season, I was one day behind as I purchased the Wild Pass one day after the current season started. No issue I still has the sufficient time to fight in the battlefield. The previous season was ended in the Gold I league with 606 Rank and 2700 rating points. I was not luck enough to get a card form the Fortune Entries but good thing is all the Fortune Entries converted into the Luck coins. I already earned a Luckiest Longshot card (exchanging the 500 luck coins). Card has the double attach, ranged as well as the magic. I am already half way to claim the second copy of the card.

In the last season, I was able to earned slightly higher Glint rewards as they are slightly more as compare to the season before the last season.
Following three Legendary Cards (form Neutral, Death and Water splinter) pulled form previous season loot chests. Kulu Matermind looks awesome and Drybone Raider looks dangerous. Waiting for Gold Foil Legendary.
Rental Earnings
Rental earning are not good as most of the cards has been moved to lands. This season the rental is almost zero. Card are more productive on lands in my opinion.
In last season earned 56 DEC token as Rental Income using the Splex.gg.
