CCC's Street Art Contest #275 // In honor of the Singer of the People
Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. I am once again participating in the contest organized by @digi-me, CCC's Street Art Contest #275. Do you like folk music? Today I'm sharing with you the beautiful art captured in a mural in one of the most famous squares in Cumaná, in honor of Venezuelan singer-songwriter Ali Primera. A couple of weeks ago, I had the idea of taking photos of this mural, but I didn't do it because, although it was a very beautiful piece of art, the design was already quite worn. When I finally decided to do it, I realized that they had changed the drawing. Now, on a white background, we can see every detail more clearly, as well as the vibrant colors that are part of this sublime street art.
Alí Primera was an icon of folk music. He gifted us with his beautiful voice in various genres, including acoustic, folk, and protest music, as he was a Venezuelan political activist. This singer-songwriter and composer, born in Coro, Falcón state, has a little corner in a small square located between Nueva Toledo Avenue and Panamericana Avenue, Cumaná, Sucre state, Venezuela. On my way home, I have to pass by there. The square is very pretty, and they have renovated the artwork, which is why this photograph is a must-have in my collection.
What can we see in this square dedicated to the People's Singer? Musical instruments and notes, flowers, birds typical of folklore, and, of course, Ali Primera himself, cheerful, playing his favorite string instruments, the cuatro and the guitar.The 3D musical instruments are a real bonus in the decoration of this recreational space in my city. Don't you think so too?.
The author of “Los techos de cartón” left this earthly world at the age of 43, leaving behind an indelible legacy. His music was declared National Heritage in 2005.

Saludos estimados amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, estoy participando nuevamente en el concurso organizado por @digi-me, CCC's Street Art Contest #275. Les gusta la música folklórica?, hoy les comparto el hermoso arte plasmado en el mural de una de las plazas más famosas de Cumaná en honor al cantautor venezolano Ali Primera. Hace un par de semanas tuve la idea de tomarle fotos a este mural, pero no lo hice porque pese a que representaba un arte muy bonito, el diseño ya estaba bastante desgastado. Cuando por fin me decidí a hacerlo, me di cuenta que habían cambiado el dibujo, ahora, sobre un fondo blanco, podemos observar con mayor claridad cada detalle, además de los vibrantes colores que forman parte de este sublime arte callejero.
Alí Primera fue un ícono de la música folklórica, nos regaló una hermosa voz en varios géneros, acústica, folklore y música de protesta por ser un activista político venezolano. Este cantautor y compositor nacido en Coro, estado Falcón, posee un rinconcito en una pequeña plaza ubicada entre la avenida Nueva Toledo y la avenida Panamericana, Cumaná, estado Sucre, Venezuela. En mi recorrido a casa estoy obligada a pasar por allí, la plaza está muy bonita, han renovado el arte y por eso esta fotografía es imperdible en mi colección.
Que podemos ver en esta plaza en honor al Cantor de Pueblo?, instrumentos y notas musicales, flores, aves típicas alusivas al folklore, y por supuesto, al propio Ali Primera, alegre, tocando un instrumento de cuerda, sus preferidos, el cuatro y la guitarra. Los instrumentos musicales en 3D son todo un plus en la decoración de este espacio recreativo de mi ciudad, tú también lo crees así?.
El autor de “Los techos de cartón”, dejó este mundo terrenal a los 43 años, dejando un legado imborrable. Su música fue declarada Patrimonio Nacional desde el año 2005.
