CCC's Street Art Contest #278 // Cumaná celebrates [ENG-ESP]
Greetings dear friends, welcome to my blog. I am once again participating in the contest organized by @digi-me, CCC's Street Art Contest #278. Last week I passed by Plaza Badaraco Bermúdez and came across a beautiful mural. That was because I was working in that area and, since I'm always participating in these street art contests, no mural escapes my gaze.
On Saturday morning, I went to photograph the mural. The first thing I saw was a beautiful sign. Cumaná, my hometown, celebrated its 510th anniversary on November 27. To mark the occasion, the city dressed up for a lavish celebration, with nights of yesteryear, music, and lots of joy. To see the art in this place, you have to climb a few stairs. You can see that there are lights decorating this little corner, but we can only see them at night.
The mural is truly beautiful, depicting colonial Cumaná, with the customs of yesteryear, the costumes, and the beauty of those years in all their splendor. I managed to take photos of the mural from different angles and in more detail of each work that forms part of this beautiful street art. The most striking thing about the mural is the special way in which the benches and trees are integrated into the painting. No, no, they are not painted, they are real, but they form part of an enchanting landscape. What do you think?.
I found the 3D effect impressive; it really tricks the eye. There are two other works of art to admire in this small space, but the sun prevented me from photographing one of them. At least I can share with you Castillo San Antonio de la Eminencia and the beautiful sunset that always accompanies it.
The mural is located in the historic district, opposite Plaza Badaraco Bermúdez, Cumaná, Sucre State, Venezuela. This is my entry to the CCC's Street Art Contest #278.
Saludos estimados amigos, bienvenidos a mi blog, estoy participando nuevamente en el concurso organizado por @digi-me, CCC's Street Art Contest #278. La semana pasada pasé por la Plaza Badaraco Bermúdez y me encontré con un hermoso mural. Eso fue gracias a que me encontraba trabajando por esa zona y como ahora estoy siempre participando en estos concursos de arte callejero, no hay mural que se escape de mis retinas.
El sábado en la mañana fui a fotografiar el mural, lo primero que vi fue un hermoso letrero, Cumaná, mi ciudad natal, cumplió 510 años el pasado 27 de noviembre. Con motivo de una fastuosa celebración, la ciudad se vistió de fiesta, noches de antaño, música y mucha alegría. Para ver el arte en este lugar, hay que subir unas cuantas escaleras. Se nota que hay luces que engalanan este pequeño rincón, pero solo las podremos ver de noche.
El mural es verdaderamente hermoso, muestra a la Cumaná colonial, con las costumbres antañeras, los trajes y la belleza de aquellos años en todo su esplendor. Logré tomar fotos del mural en diferentes ángulos y más al detalle de cada obra que forma parte de este hermoso arte callejero. Lo más llamativo del mural es la manera tan especial que se integra a la pintura los bancos y los árboles, no, no, no son pintados, son reales, pero forman parte de un paisaje encantador. Que opinan?.
El efecto 3D, me pareció impresionante, de verdad logra engañar la vista. Otras dos obras artísticas podemos contemplar en este pequeño lugar, pero el sol no me dejó fotografiar una de ellas. Al menos les comparto el Castillo San Antonio de la Eminencia y el bello atardecer que siempre lo acompaña.
El mural está ubicado en el casco histórico, frente a la Plaza Badaraco Bermúdez, Cumaná, estado Sucre, Venezuela. Esta es mi entrada al concurso de Arte Callejero del CCC #278.
