Start Your Day With Calmness

I thought I'd start this week with a featured image for the week.

I took this shot of a peaceful sunrise over the beach in Umhlanga.

The photo was captured at the Umhlanga Pier. To me, it was a quiet reminder to slow down and take in the beauty around us which we so often take for granted. The gentle waves, soft light, and open sky made me feel calm and brought clarity to my mind.

I just didn't want to leave the beach and I actually wished that time could stand still for a while.

I'll end this post with the two photos below.

I supported myself on a big rock, almost laying down flat across the rock, with the surf softly and gently rolling out onto the beach below me.

While I heard the soft sound of the seawater rolling out onto the beach, the sky displayed the most beautiful colours while the sun was slowly rising on the horizon.

I like to go on a early morning walk with my dog not to the sea though that is like a 2 hour drive 😂
