Sometimes life gets tangled up.
Plans change, emotions weigh and we feel like we don't know where to start…
But even in the midst of chaos, when anxiety appears in the interval between what we want and what we think others expect to see in us. Little by little we can find threads that help us rebuild ourselves: accept, ask for help, rest, cry, learn, try again and trust in our process.
While the tachycardia is real, the tremors are real, the pain is real and the catastrophic ideas are real. Just because something can't be seen on an X-ray doesn't mean it doesn't exist. How can we not encounter so many cases of anxiety today, when impossible demands fall on people: to be your own boss, to lead a fit life, to become your best version, to produce more, to perform more? It would seem that someone's value depends exclusively on his ability to fulfill what is socially expected of him.
We live in a time where everything should happen immediately; instead, in contrast, when we go for a walk or to do any outdoor activity, which I love to do, it does not introduce a limit, and we enable a pause, where we can breathe again.
Crises often get a bad rap, and not for no reason. These are moments that challenge our stability and plunge us into uncertainty. But have you ever stopped to think about what is really hidden behind a crisis? Beyond the stress and chaos, there are opportunities that only arise when everything seems to be falling apart. Discovering the opportunities for growth that are hidden in the midst of chaos, redefine us, empower us to take charge of our life and turn them into a catalyst for change.
I believe more and more in the importance of dialogue with people. And is that life always moves in polarities, Jung called it the Law of Enantiodromy, because it is difficult to find balance, it can be an arduous task, it takes love, kind hearts, limits not to hurt ourselves, and dancing, being flexible, because the truth is never on one side, because life will always ask us to adapt our world to reality, and that implies riding a bike using one polarity and the other too.
The cycle can be interrupted with courage and tenderness.
We can't always choose what happens to us, but we can choose how to accompany us as we go through it. And even if we don't see it complete today... every little step counts too. Sometimes the deepest good makes no noise.
He just shows up. And he stays for a while. Happy beginning of the month. Take care of yourselves and get home safely while you have to walk.
Have a nice and gentle day ☀ with new beginnings and opportunities.
