Hi everyone, this is my choice for this edition. What do you have for breakfast and why?...

I believe in the premise that says that breakfast is the most important and to protect my brain after a prolonged fasting throughout the night the body detoxifying and the brain self-regulating expend a lot of energy reserve, so I like that all the macros are present....

I have said goodbye to trans fats, eliminating junk food in all my meals, especially at breakfast, I do not consume any of the typical fried foods, pastries, tequeños and empanadas in our Venezuelan gastronomic culture.

The usual (routine) an arepa with scrambled egg, with tomato, onion and mushrooms, and avocado. Or a toasted bread stuffed with lettuce tomato chicken breast ham or turkey, parmesan cheese and olive oil and a couple of boiled eggs. Or tortilla with two eggs and tuna with casabe and avocado. Or arepa with esmechado chicken and avocado.

A sandwich of toasted square bread, with mozzarella cheese, serrano ham lettuce olives and boiled egg. Mandocas with flaxseed, mozzarella cheese, a couple of baked eggs and butter.

A zucchini carpaccio on very thin wheels with finely sliced tomato wheels on top, sliced olives, boiled egg, grated onion, grated parmesan cheese, olive oil, salt and pepper... with toasted canilla bread on wheels or casabes! ...

I make it for my breakfasts or dinners, it's delicious and light with all the macro nutrients. You can remove or add whatever you want mushrooms, capers, Ricotta cheese, balsamic vinegar, tuna or sardine.





But I also have my breakfasts to get out of the routine, on weekends, Saturday or Sunday, like: the Soufflé pancakes 🥞.

I'm going to share my recipe:

Ingredients: 4 white and yellow eggs separated, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, 1/2 cup of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder, 1 pinch of salt, 3 tablespoons of whole milk powder, you can also substitute them for other milks, 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 4 tablespoons of water (for cooking).

After I make the mixture, I make the pancakes with a mold and place them in a steam pan. When they are ready I serve them with my preferred topin for example butter, honey, preferred fruits.





This dish is not frequent in my usual breakfasts, but today I rewarded myself I made it and ate it all without feeling guilty. Then I went to the gym to the cardio boom.

It is necessary to have a good breakfast to improve harmful habits for health and to avoid saturated fats as a direct risk factor for Alzheimer's and dementia.

Pancakes for breakfast are yum! Every now and then we have pancakes like this for breakfast although it's rare because I look after my figure; sometimes it's ok though and I love those breakfasts!

A healthy lifestyle starts with a healthy breakfast! And yes, rewarding ourselves with a not so healthy food is not bad. I think they balance everything. Eating just healthy ones has other side effects too so a reward like this is a must. Thinking about it now, our breakfast this week really are just the same, bread and coffee or milk 🫠🤣
