The buildings in Petrogradsky district full of history. I like how you made the photos in monochrome, it must give them a special mood. The painted house is interesting and it makes me wonder what is really inside.
Inside that blanket there are probably some hollow ruines of destroyed building, with with only the front wall preserved... most likely. The painted blanket masks the ruines and it is considered to keep the cityscape as usual as it was, and will be after the buiding restoration is finished. But it is not precise, always very apparent.
