Felices fiestas navideñas a tod@s......

Hello to the entire Hive community, especially #hive-192096
Today I want to share a photo that brings back fond memories, which is my entry for the [TBT Contest: A Photo, A Story, A Day Like That](https://ecency.com/hive -192096/@lanzjoseg/concurso-tbt-una-foto-una-historia-un-dia-de-esos-t72zco) organised by @lanzjoseg, which I think is great. It's one of those photos I never tire of looking at. It was my parents' wedding day at church: 22 February, although I don't remember the year.
This is the photo.

My mum in her yellow dress surrounded by her four children: Yunier (42), Yoselyn (39), Jesica (30) and Jenifer (30) at the entrance to our house in Roble, Santa Fe (Havana, Cuba). (The numbers I've added are their current ages). All so different and unique to our mum.
I remember everyone rushing around because my uncle Bernardo heard a noise in the yard, looked out and found a dark blue parakeet in the cherimoya tree (by the way, have you tried this fruit? It's delicious and sweet). It was the sensation of the moment. So much so that we named it after the tree: Chirimoyo. Hahaha. Finding it was magical.
I know that both my jimagua and I were running around doing our own thing while the adults talked and danced.
Today, I see the glasses in the display case and it reminds me of that day, as my sister "Yosy", as we affectionately call her, was in charge of the decorations and the dessert, which turned out spectacularly as she combined the cake with the glasses in a phenomenal way.
The only downside is that we will never have another photograph of all the siblings together with our mum, as our "tato", which is what we called Yunier when we were children, sadly took his own life on 9 June. The last one was in 2019, during Yosy's last visit to Cuba.
Well, back to the subject at hand, my mum only wore that outfit that one day. She kept it as a relic in her wardrobe until the day of reunification in 2022, when she gave it to a great friend.
So much for this brief memory from a few years ago, perhaps 2004 or 2005. Initiatives like this are so nice because talking about photographs is a way to remind the mind of happy or sad moments. Sometimes they are forgotten, but photos are the memory that refreshes the mind and makes us feel again what is behind those photographs of the past...
