It breaks my heart to know that these realities exist, even if your little story is fiction. It's great that you were inspired by it. I always think that talking about certain topics can catch someone's attention. Looking back, I feel that I have received a lot of help in my life, so I try to give back what I can to whoever I can. Yes, the realities are too familiar. It's a sad state of affairs that these situations around the world haven't been solved. But with wars and rumors of wars with heads of state not looking past their own agenda, people through no fault of their own will suffer. It's embarrassing to even think that our children who are our future are being treated thus. A heavy burden on humanity that can be cured. But where's the profit in that?
