A few weeks ago in my city, the kids were enjoying their summer vacation. This meant that to keep them entertained, we had to organize different activities so they wouldn't get bored. The great thing about this interpretation center is that it has an expert who gives us a guided tour and tells the children about the different activities that take place when visiting the wetlands.

In Corrientes, there is so much beauty that it has earned the nickname of the "capital" of "nature":. Therefore, it's no surprise that the Ministry of Tourism has created this website to learn about excursions to one of the province's most beautiful natural areas. Here you can discover the different species of plants, birds, and animals that inhabit the wetlands. This time, I'm going to show you photographs we took of the two species of deer that live in this region.

One of the "deer" that roam the grasslands of this part of the world is known as the "marsh-deer":. Its scientific name is "lastocerus-dichotomus":. It is an animal that is generally seen at night, and is rarely accompanied, unless it is a female with her fawn. The color of its coat is truly beautiful, and its antlers are very striking.

¨Ozotoceros¨-¨bezoarticus¨: is the scientific name of the ¨deer¨-of-the-¨pampas¨:  of the two specimens, this species is the smaller one; although they are of medium size, it is slightly smaller than the previous species. It was wonderful to take our Nikon-Coolpix-B500 on this beautiful visit. We were able to photograph many animal species that live in the wetlands. It's great that a center like this exists; it's an opportunity to learn about the beautiful animals we have in the interior of our province. I look forward to visiting this beautiful place again and photographing the animals in their natural habitat.
