In less than 100 meters we visited two neighborhoods of the city (Es-Eng)

in Wednesday Walk5 days ago

How are the loyal followers of this wonderful "Wednesday-Walk-Community"? Once again, we're here to support our friend tattoodjay in his brilliant initiative. A very significant challenge if we think about our physical and mental health; As you know, walking is very good for different parts of the body, while taking photos while walking allows us to distract our minds, something extremely healthy.

Continuing with the plan I set for myself some time ago to show you the streets of the city center, we visited this area of our capital again. This is one of those contradictory places we have here, since, due to its location, some people claim it's part of one neighborhood, while others think it belongs to a different one. This happens because the places we visited during our walk are on the line where two neighborhoods divide; Luckily, there's a lot of information on the web that allows us to say exactly which neighborhoods the places we visit belong to.

Today's walk was again just meters from the start of the waterfront; we visited a beautiful space ¨recreational¨:  created in homage to a commander ¨militar¨: who was part of one of the most important wars in this region of the world. The small ¨plazoleta¨:  is located in a triangle that belongs to the neighborhood ¨deportes¨:

In front of this green space and crossing the street we found a building "public": which functions as a tax collector "tax": and due to its geographical location is part of a different neighborhood. I know it may be confusing, but as I mentioned before, across the street it belongs to the "rosada":another beautiful neighborhood that I have already introduced to you

Always grateful to everyone who joins me on my weekly walks. Last week I introduced you to one of the museums in my city, and this time I wanted to show you a recreational space and a city government building located across the street from each other. Because of their geographical location, they belong to two different neighborhoods.

You got it: Walking is good for our health, our biological health as well as our mental health.

Another positive of walking around - and taking photographs - is that we - the reader and viewer - get an impression of some other city.

Unless you are called 'edje'. Was planning a Wednesday walk post this week with photographs I took last Saturday while walking around in one of our famous little districts in the city centre. Took photographs but not overview ones, more details of a street sign, a shop window, a tree climbing up a house, such like that. I try to be different. That said, I shall first create the post; otherwise, I am not different at all and belong to the massive bike group that doesn't create posts for HIVE 😆 🎶

I think it's the same everywhere: a street divides two neighbourhoods, and often people don't know exactly which neighbourhood they're in, but those of us who travel around the city as much as you and I do know, and the map always helps.

I love streets lined with trees and their bright green colours, as well as that little square named after that soldier. It's great to explore and discover new places, and I do so through your photographs. You live in a beautiful city that is well worth visiting. There is so much to see and learn. You had a lovely walk on Wednesday. Thank you very much, Luis! Hugs!🤗

Muchas gracias Luis!!! Abrazo!🤗

What I always pay attention to in your photos is the severity of the lines. This makes the cityscape seem very clean and transparent

Good morning, dear friend @torem-di-torem

The city where I live is a tourist destination, so the municipality makes sure it's always tidy and clean.

Thank you so much for appreciating my photographs.

Have a wonderful day!
