Cuando digo ver a las aves con un ojo diferente me refiero a que me tomo el tiempo en ver y disfrutar del ave, me encantan ver sus plumas, su tamaño, y si puedo identifico el sexo. Los avistamientos de aves son satisfactorios, cada día es una experiencia diferente; esta semana disfrute de conocer a una ¨especie ¨ : nueva, que de apariencia tiene un notorio parecido con los ¨gorriones¨, pero son en realidad los muy conocidos ¨chingolos¨, la diferencia con el ¨gorrión¨ es la combinación de sus plumas y el copete que es gris
When I say I see birds with a different eye, I mean that I take the time to really look at and enjoy them. I love observing their feathers, their size, and if I can, I try to identify their sex. Birdwatching is very rewarding; every day is a different experience. This week I enjoyed learning about a new species, which bears a striking resemblance to sparrows, but is actually the well-known rufous-collared sparrow. The difference lies in the combination of its feathers and its gray crest.

Este ¨ejemplar¨: se lo suele ver seguido, aunque con el crecimiento de las ramas de los árboles casi no los veo; esta semana mientras disfrutaba el ¨trinar¨ de las aves, el ¨zorzal¨ se posó frente a mí en el muro de casa, como pidiendo que le haga una sesión de fotografías

Hace algunos días este hermoso ¨ejemplar¨: se posaba en lo alto del árbol y no me permitía poder hacer algunas tomas decentes, pero al verme, lejos de volar e irse del lugar, bajo a las ramas del árbol del ¨ceibo¨ para que le pueda fotografiar mejor, estas aves son sorprendentes
A few days ago this beautiful "specimen": was perched high in the tree and wouldn't let me take any decent shots, But upon seeing me, far from flying away, it descended to the branches of the ceibo tree so I could photograph it better. These birds are amazing.

I love our Nikon Coolpix B500 It was a great decision to acquire it; without being a professional, I take pretty decent photos. This has been another great week of birdwatching. I saw unique bird behaviors, and I finally met the much-talked-about "chingolo" (a type of sparrow). What more could someone who loves feathered friends like me ask for?
