We arrived at the House of Reflections [Esp/Eng].

En algunos de los últimos posts les comenté que están haciendo unas series de estudios ¨oftalmológicos¨ a mi ojo derecho, llevo seis hechos y no han podido determinar, o mejor dicho, diagnosticar correctamente por qué en el centro de la ¨iris¨ ha perdido pigmentación, hasta ahora determinaron que se trata de una ¨retinopatía¨¨pigmentada¨, pero si la evaluación fuera correcta, por las noches no debería ver, algo que no es mi caso

In some of my recent posts, I mentioned that they're doing a series of "ophthalmological" tests on my right eye. I've had six, and they haven't been able to determine, or rather, correctly diagnose why at the center of The iris has lost pigmentation; so far, they've determined it's pigmented retinopathy, but if the diagnosis were correct, I shouldn't be able to see at night, which isn't the case for me.

Lo cierto es que por ahora no se ha podido determinar bien, y al parecer con los estudios que hay disponible no lo podrán hacer, salvo que se haga con rayos láser, y como no es un ¨diagnóstico¨ de riesgo el estado no va autorizar, o mejor dicho, este tratamiento no está en la lista de lo que la salud del estado pueda autorizar; resultado del diagnóstico inconcluso

The truth is that for now it hasn't been possible to determine it well, and it seems that with the studies available they won't be able to, unless it's done with laser beams, and since it's not a high-risk "diagnosis" the state won't authorize it, or rather, this treatment isn't on the list of what the state health department can authorize; inconclusive diagnosis result

Ahora estamos esperando la recuperación de mi esposa de la cirugía que se le practico el día martes pasado, y así comenzar los tramites de autorización de un nuevo estudio también del ojo derecho llamado campo visual, quieren establecer cuál es el nivel de deterioro desde el ultimo control que se hizo hace dos años; en cuanto a la ¨catarata¨ detectada en ambos ojos por el momento decidí no operármelo, ahora estoy más preocupado en hacerme los nuevo lentes con las nueva mediciones, porque con los que tengo, ya no puedo trabajar

We are now waiting for my wife to recover from the surgery she had last Tuesday, so we can begin the authorization process for a new visual field test on her right eye. They want to determine the level of deterioration since her last check-up two years ago; Regarding the cataracts detected in both eyes, I've decided against surgery for the time being. Now I'm more concerned with getting new glasses with the updated prescription, because I can no longer work with the ones I have.

Fue durante estos movimientos que estuvimos haciendo en las calles de la ciudad que sin darnos cuenta hemos llegado frente a la casa de los reflejos, es así como Abigail llama a este edificio que está en la esquina de un lugar que caminamos bastante seguido, y como buen cazador de reflejos tomo la ¨cámara¨ :  para hacer estas tomas hermosas para enseñárselos a los apasionados de los ¨reflejos¨

It was during these walks we were making through the city streets that, without realizing it, we arrived in front of the House of Reflections. That's what Abigail calls this building on the corner of a place we walk through quite often. And, like a good reflection hunter, I took the camera to take these beautiful shots for Show them to those who are passionate about “reflexes”
