What would you call it? (My entry for the "monomad" challenge) [Esp/Eng].

in Black And White18 hours ago

Always happy to return to this wonderful Community to participate in this awesome #monomad challenge. This is one of those great challenges you have to take part in, since it allows you to take shots you don't usually take every day; in my case, it motivates me to take photos in the streets of my city.

I consider myself a restless person, interested in photographing everything I see and that catches my eye; that's why I call our visits to the city center walks."photographic": I love walking through the streets of my city; I consider them walks "photographic": because I don't let anything pass me by without taking a picture if there's something along my path that I like.

Something that always catches my eye are the domes of church buildings; the different architectural forms are what capture my attention, but whenever I photograph them, I can't help but notice the tedious electrical cables that my city has.

I've often wondered why there's so much clutter, or if the power lines don't bother anyone. If you take the time to look up what people are saying about this online, you'll be surprised, since many think they're a real "annoyances":, but others think they're true "works":

This, which seems like a controversial topic, apparently isn't so much, given that more and more professionals are dedicating time to taking these kinds of photos. I have to admit that for this contest: they don't look so bad, or at least it's not so unpleasant; Even if I look at it with great affection, I'd even say it attracts me.

Good afternoon @jlufer, the photos you took with the cables aren't bad. Personally, I think they add depth to the images and make you laugh... and rhythm too. I liked these shots.

I hope you're having a great start to the week.

Muchas gracias, querido amigo.

Que tengas una tarde hermosa.

How are you, my dear friend @enraizar?

I think the cables look great in these kinds of shots; in black and white they look like true works of art.

Thank you so much, my dear friend.

Have a wonderful afternoon.

The power lines are more accessible in black & white photography rather than in colour photography. Photos have good clarity. Good luck friend.

How are you, dear friend @shamis?

It's true, cables look much better in black and white photos.

Thank you so much.

Have a wonderful day.
