The real talk prompt for this week has a lot of thoughts in it.
Like this is just what we face in life and I wonder why it should be that way most times.
Family is not only those related by blood, a family is built and can be by choice.
I have seen and heard a lot of cases whereby one has to leave it's family to bond with other people and call them family.
When it comes to family, peace is attached to it.
Family is about involvement and commitment, a family that doesn't give one peace should just be a name without stronghold.
The above is just how one feels and how it should be.
But in life not everything that is right is good and not everything that is good is right.
We all will agree that a family shouldn't despair someone and make someone miserable, but it happens.
We find ourselves not able to have control over it.
In most cases you will see a family dragging someone down, making the person's life a living hell but still remain in it like a charm, like something someone is initiated into.
Yes, like a tie, that no matter what you do, you won't be able to loosen the it.
There is a movie that I watched some months ago, I think I even wrote a review on it.
About a lady who struggles to fed for her family, while her mother refused to be responsible.
She squanders the little money given to her by her first child to take care of herself and her sister on church offerings.
She also accepted her ex boyfriend who abandoned her and the two children because he promised to marry her.
Like she accepted him into her home where her daughter struggles to pay rent.
He wasn't contributing anything to their warfare because he blackmails the lady, and she gives him the money given to her by her daughter to fed.
He spends the money on alcohol and betting.
The lady left home for her own sanity but will always be dragged home whenever the parents causes problems.
This is just the first story that pisses me off.
No matter how we try to paint it, family bond by blood is everything.
No matter how messy they are we have a lot of unknown courage to be patient with them and hope they change, we strangely are loyal to them.
Maybe there is something strange that connects it.
They still stand by each other no matter how tough they made each other's life to be
