A total of 3/4 Troy oz. of gold, and that is worth a lot of buying power locked into two coins. Congratulations @independance, it would now take a huge financial feat to accomplish this.

I often remove the plastic cap off to take a photo when I can.

        I understand for the plastic cap, but I like to think they are still "Fleur de Coin" for as long as I don't touch them :)
