To Save the Earth
The thing is, most people living on this planet still do not know that the earth we are living on is deteriorating every day. The call to save the earth has been on for many years, yet a lot of us have not seen the reason to join in saving it.
Let me give a little experience and explanation.
I do laundry, and this work requires the usage of water in a wasteful manner. Yes, we pour the used water away, and we do not channel it to a refining spot except through the way the earth absorbs it back. Sometimes, when I start pouring and wasting the water, I always get these judgmental thoughts within me: "What if the earth gets angry and stops releasing water with the way I am wasting it?" I would feel so bad, but then, there are actually no two ways to go about it, we must waste water in the work process. 
I have lived in a city where the water table is very low; hence, water is scarce because it is very expensive to drill boreholes. You need to see how we treasured water, water was like gold there.
Water, among other natural resources, needs to be conserved to help save the earth. In some parts of the world, there is water in excess, and this makes it feel like water, because it is abundant, does not need to be conserved. No, no, we must conserve water, because what if one day the earth gets angry and stops releasing water, or the oceans dry off into deserts? It is going to be very alarming.
Planting of trees. This act of saving the earth is usually mentioned first whenever means of saving the earth are discussed. This is because the rate at which people engage in deforestation is alarming, and only a few consider afforestation. Take, for example, in this modern-day life, bushes are being cleared down every now and then to build houses because it seems owning a house is a goldmine now. No one wants to keep their land as a forest or as land filled with trees. To save the earth, afforestation should be encouraged because trees act as natural air conditioners.
Before I drop my keyboard, the next act I want to mention is something that is almost unachievable again in our modern world. It is the reduction in the usage of cars, motorcycles, or any automobiles that pump harmful chemicals into the air, such as carbon monoxide. This does not only affect human life; it also affects other lives that contribute to the cycle of the earth’s well-being. Although automobiles that use solar power have been invented, they are costly and not available everywhere in the world, and this makes it very difficult for the world to pull out completely from the use of cars and other vehicles that release harmful chemicals into the air.
