Can the Cuban Government — or rather, the Cuban misgovernment — continue to suppress the progress that its people have the right to?
It is incredible to see how every basic human right of the people of a country with so many educated citizens is repressed and suppressed.
But the most paradoxical thing is to see how, while Chinese communism managed to lift its people out of extreme poverty, Cuban "socialism" achieved exactly the opposite.
I only hope that the change that is coming will be what is best for Cubans, and that they may finally get to experience a little freedom and prosperity.
¿Podrá el Gobierno o mejor dicho el desgobierno cubano seguir suprimiendo el progreso al que tiene derecho su pueblo?
Es increíble ver cómo se reprime y se suprime cada derecho básico de un ser humano de un país con tanta gente educada.
Pero lo más paradójico es ver como mientras un comunismo chino pudo sacar a su pueblo de la pobreza extrema, un "socialismo" cubano logró exactamente lo opuesto.
Solo espero que el cambio que se avecina sea lo mejor para los cubanos, y que al fin puedan probar un poco de libertad y prosperidad.
