Saludos y bendiciones, mis queridos amigos de @LifeStyles, una vez más por aquí para mostrarle estas hermosas fotografías que estuve tomando este lunes pasado en el que fui de visita a una institución en la que impartirían un curso de Inteligencia Artificial Generativa, al que iríamos varios compañeros de trabajo, así como también los de otra institución y parte del personal de esta que estábamos visitando.
Esta es una entidad del gobierno y que se enfoca en minas o minerales, con lo que se trabaja en nuestro estado y así mismo en el país. Cuando llegué bien temprano, lo primero que vi fue las bonitas decoraciones navideñas que tenían a la entrada de sus instalaciones. Miren qué lindo es este dibujo en grafito en una de sus paredes anunciando la Navidad y el próspero año 2026 con un emblemático nacimiento.
También habían decoraciones en las ventanas de vidrio y dentro de sus espacios muy bonitos y elegantes, la temática que tenía de Navidad; sin embargo, lo que más me llamó la atención fue una exposición de minerales y tipos de suelos que tenían en una mesa a la entrada de esta institución.
Ahora bien por qué les digo que fue un día fallido, porque no tenían preparada las instalaciones para recibir al personal que veníamos de mi institución y estaban en reuniones para cambiar la fecha, puesto que esta ya se había rodado en otras oportunidades y el tema es demasiado importante para dejarlo para otro día cómo lo es la Inteligencia artificial generativa, al final de cuentas el curso se dejó para otro día.
Sin embargo, no fue en vano, ya aproveché esta visita y estuve revisando cómo les digo esta bonita exposición, miren qué hermosas piedras, cuarzos, unas bellezas, por ahí ven una que parecían una verdura que nosotros lo conocemos como ocumo chino que es un morado lila muy suave, muy lindo y hasta el rico se veía, porque a mí me encanta, jejeje.
Yo estaba emocionada viendo estos minerales y tomándole fotos, se me acerca un señor que estaba ahí en la sala de espera y viendo mi interés me preguntó que si me gustaban y yo les dije que sí y le eché un cuento de cuando yo estaba en el liceo que me mandaron hacer un proyecto parecido en que tenia que buscar diferentes tipos de suelos y fue una aventura muy bonita.
Me estuvo mostrando desde su teléfono varias piedras, cuarzos o minerales de los que él ha tenido oportunidad de descubrir en Minas, ya que esa amiga sido su labor durante varios años, habían unos que eran tal cual unos cristales, unos parecían diamantes, otros eran transparentes como el agua además tenían cortes hechos por la naturaleza como que fueran de un joyero, se veían demasiado espectacular, muy lindos y le hice la acotación que desde pequeña siempre le decía que prefería tener una de estas piedras hermosas a una prenda de oro, la verdad que hay piedras que parecen un paraíso, algún día tendré una con el favor de Dios.
Bueno, amigos, pueden hacer zoom y explorar cada uno de los minerales expuestos con sus características, espero que les guste ver lo que la naturaleza nos regala.

A failed day, but a nice one
Greetings and blessings, my dear friends at @LifeStyles. Once again, I'm here to show you these beautiful photographs I took this past Monday when I visited an institution where they were teaching a course on Generative Artificial Intelligence. Several of my coworkers were attending, as well as colleagues from another institution and some of the staff from the one we were visiting.
This is a government entity that focuses on mines and minerals, which is what we work with in our state and throughout the country. When I arrived early in the morning, the first thing I saw were the beautiful Christmas decorations at the entrance to their facilities. Look how beautiful this graphite drawing is on one of their walls, announcing Christmas and a prosperous 2026 with an emblematic nativity scene.
There were also decorations in the glass windows and inside their very beautiful and elegant spaces, with a Christmas theme. However, what caught my attention the most was an exhibition of minerals and soil types on a table at the entrance to this institution.
Now, why do I say it was a failed day? Because they weren't prepared to receive the staff from my institution, and they were in meetings to change the date, since it had already been postponed on other occasions and the topic is too important to leave for another day, as is the case with generative artificial intelligence. In the end, the course was left for another day.
However, it was not in vain, as I took advantage of this visit and was reviewing, as I said, this beautiful exhibition. Look at these beautiful stones, quartz, such beauties. There you can see one that looks like a vegetable that we know as Chinese taro, which is a very soft lilac purple, very pretty and even looked delicious, because I love it, hehehe.
I was excited looking at these minerals and taking pictures of them. A man who was there in the waiting room approached me and, seeing my interest, asked me if I liked them. I said yes and told him a story about when I was in high school and was assigned a similar project in which I had to look for different types of soils. It was a very nice adventure.
He showed me several stones, quartz, and minerals on his phone that he had discovered in Minas, since that had been his job for several years. Some were like crystals, some looked like diamonds, others were transparent like water, and they also had cuts made by nature as if they were from a jeweler. They looked spectacular, very beautiful, and I told him that since I was little, I always said that I would rather have one of these beautiful stones than a piece of gold jewelry. The truth is that there are stones that look like paradise, and someday, God willing, I will have one.
