Hello everyone!!!

I hope so you all are fine and happy 😃

As we're living kn different countries of this vast world so obviously some systems also different from each other as every country has it's own rule but many things are in common too just like the love of parents, siblings and friends and humanity is same everywhere but the things which are on high level are different from each other.

Education system of Pakistan!!!

At some point i really don't like the education system of Pakistan as I'm the teacher too but i can't change it as whole as i can only try but i can imply those changing only in my class. But if I talk about the overall thing then they'll give high grades to those who exact copy material from the books.

For example if in the book A for Apple then student should have to write A for Apple not A for aeroplane. Especially in starting years of education copy paste most preferable not the concepts and not the creativity of the kids and believe me at the end when i start to make the results kids have positions with the difference of one or two marks and on result day they feel sad although with having position in class. I cheers them and their success but i feel some of them very stressed.

Parents pressure!!!

I know that parents put a lot of pressure on their kids that you must be first in the class and i think that's not the good behavior that your own parents pressurized you for just getting good grades. I saw that my cousin having kids and her oldest daughter is in grade five and both of them mean her mom and dad always put pressure that go and study. I think a kid not only studied all the time. I don't know why they're putting so much pressure on her daughter that when she get good grades in exam's then besides taking good grades she felt sad because she knows her parents will angry to her.

Competitive exams in Pakistan!!!

If i talk about the competitive exams for jobs in Pakistan on higher level then also we listen a news a few year's ago that they sell papers with heavy money. And students are the one who bought these papers with high amount of money which can't be easily available for students and i really don't know how they manage so big amount of money.

Final thought's!!!

I think there are a lot of things which needs to be change just like they appreciate creative writing of students at early education level and also parents don't pressure on their kids for getting higher grades as they should appreciate because they know that their kids give their best.

That's all for today and it's my entry in this week hive learner contest in #hl-exclusive for the topic of the #hl-w207e3.

Tbh, in Pakistan, we need a holistic change. Rather than cramming, we need to promote learning, growth and earning. From Kindergarten to Higher Secondary, Pakistan's Education System is following the traditional approach. We need creativity and critical thinking at the same time; however, no one is willing to promote this change at all. Even after the University degree, one cannot expect such vast maturity and wisdom from the students.
In the end, we are still chained to the colonial era mentality. For example, the public administration system of United India gave the concept of 33 marks. The passing criteria for the competitive examination was 65 marks, however, the Indians at that time faced difficulty to compete. So, the colonizers decided to cut the criteria to half - which was approximated to 33. It's been 78 years of Independence; we are still following the same rule.

Btw, it fills my heart with joy when word "Pakistan" Is meentioned on this platform.

Have a good day!

Peace 🕊

You said so much, and it is not peculiar to Pakistan alone. When I was in secondary school, I use to cram mathematics learnt in class inorder to pass and I passed but guess what? I was never really good at mathematics and I didn't realize it until I changed school.

Pressure from parents, teachers and society forces students to do things that ends up destroying their chances to actually learn. It makes them hunger for getting good grades instead of focusing on learning

Being pressured about getting good grades is what is making learning too difficult for students these days. Thanks for sharing.
