Hello friends and happy Monday afternoon, and thank you for your visit!
This is a report for yesterday's activities and making it to the 5000 step count was tough!
So in the early day I went through my normal chores and did a little shopping - which got me close, but not there, so...
In the afternoon I took out "Brutus" and rode over to the Park. This is the road on the way there,

And when I got to the Park the Great Blue Heron was right there,

and hopped up on a rock,

This is a look out over the Channel,

And down towards the Fishing Pier,

On the stone next to me a Ruddy Turnstone was hopping around as well,

From there I decided to move on to the back side of the Park. On the way I saw this Curlycup Gumweed blooming,

And this one with an Insect of some kind,

And a Firewheel,

And this flew overhead as well,

I also saw this Snowy Egret hopping around on the stones - I will come back to him...

Some Fishermen came by on their boat,

At this time the Egret popped out from the rocks with a fish!

(*an enlargement, fuzzy but you can see it got it!)

It then took the fish up on the rocks,

and beat the fish on the rocks!

After that I walked past the Pier and Shade Structure,

the Pier was actually being attacked by Seagulls,

And then I decided to ride a little as the step-count was still low. Here is the road on my way out from the Park,

And this is another photo I took from down the Channel across a field as the Sun is growing down,

And that was my #aliveandthriving Sunday!
I want to thank you again for your visit and wish you a Very Blessed, Happy, and Safe Tuesday!
