Think I open it before filling up. If all looks ok, I leave it till the next move and only put oil in there.
If not, I test it here⦠after filling up with oil.

Yep, even after the events of today, and I do have to remember things have been going well - very well... So maybe "Thankfulness" is the note of the day! I did find a company (actually the State referred them) to take care of it quickly - so I am happy I can do it!

About the compressor, I could only claim within 24 hours after unloadingβ¦ π³ stupid thing anyway. As who can check and unpack 20m3 boxes and belongings in 24 hours. I sure couldnβt.

I may have missed Your earlier reply, I had a Very Good/Horror 2 weeks! π±
But let's get to You first!
That's crappy with the 24hour thing! π³ You would think they would give a month as a minimum! So crazy - but these shipping companies are (crazy)!
I am "Very Thankful" these days (am always, but...) I recognize the things that have happened.. Especially since I quit my job and working for good on February 28th 2021 - and somehow things worked! ππ»ππ»ππ»

And I got my license straightened out, for a few - but I don't care! In the end I am happy I had the money to pay it! ππΌπππΌ
So...
Two weeks ago I had a cold, pretty bad, sinus swelling all that... Well after about a week it has run it's course....
Then "Wham"! At about the end of it - from coughing I jerked my neck somehow and messed up a disk.. Well that took another week to get right and was "worse" than the cold!
I am sorting things out, and thinking about the move...
And...
They have me scheduled for x-rays, MRI, and anything else - so we will see what's up with the congestion thing!

Thatβs how they make moneyβ¦ not paying out for damage after 24 hours, even though I had additional insurance. Looks like you donβt need to get one as they only give you 24 hours to check. As they know, big loads canβt be checked in that time frame π³
I know what you mean, you started to think differently and donβt dwell on the negative. You look for the positive in all. And thatβs how it works. Shift your perspective and all changes. π€

Let me tell you what happened last weekβ¦ I got finally the outcome of my residency application. Keep in mind. They assisted us what to do and what to fill in, in certain questions. So we followed their advice and help. They refused my residency π³ on the grounds what they filled in. And said the deadline passed. You are to late π
βpardon me?β yep, they said all that even though they said I could still apply and when to and whatβ¦ so SIGH a lot of things happening as you can imagine. We need to rethink everything and we will probably move countries again in the next monthsβ¦ againβ¦ and I just unpacked 95% gggrrrrr
They should just have said in November you probably are too late with the application. They fully misinformed us. If they would have said that, we would have gone to our next option right away. We lost so much time now⦠and money⦠ah well⦠such is live. We need to move on and get everything sorted out again in the next few months.
Luckily I know the drill but it still hurts. As we are giving up something amazing here, the raw nature around us. I will make the best of it all given the situation. Try to visit what I really want to see before we leave again. Next to a lot of paperwork, planning a country move again and packing up againβ¦

I think now, their loss⦠we could have added so much to the state, I was never a burden to anything.
