Hey Actifitters,
As often, nothing really exciting yesterday until our long daily walk. When we got ready to start, I noticed this cat across the street, looking at us very intensely. Maybe it's one of Le Chat's siblings, I have no idea if there was any other ones when I found her all these years ago.

Kaia didn't see it, so we could go behind the front yard with no problem. I'm hoping she learned her lesson, and no more street crossing mishap will happen soon.

She was more interested in exploring the forest and tall weeds anyways.

But when coming back, she saw it. That cat wasn't moving! But she behaved well, although she kept an eye on it, she mostly ignored it, even though we followed it for a while. I think I now know which house it calls home, a few blocks away from ours.

Instead of going to the bigger forest first, we tried to catch part of the sunset again.

Not the most impressive one, but after most of the day being grey and rainy, that was still nice to see.

After her big fall a couple days ago, Kaia is still not 100%, but I was glad to see her take the lead as soon as we were on the trails.

Again, very hot, humid and full of mosquitoes, so I didn't complain when Kaia steered us out of the forest fairly quickly.

It was a little easier to add distance in the neighborhood after that. When we made it back home, three deer were blocking us the entrance. Kaia wasn't happy at all, how dare they block us from our own yard?... Even when she barked at them, they weren't moving much. We walked a few more short loops around the house, hoping they'd leave but they still didn't! Finally I had to stomp my feet, and pretend to rush them before they finally fled. Crazy deer!

I was talking about Le Chat's siblings above, but what about Le Chat you might ask. Well, she decided she could stay a few hours inside for once. She was just waking up when we got home.

Eventually it was a decent step count considering the muggy weather but I missed the bar for #poprzeczka. Let's see if I can do better Friday or Saturday.
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
