Hey Actifitters,
Since yesterday was a day off for July 4th, it started even later than usual. But we tried to quickly be active with a first walk to the forest.
I know I've been saying that a lot but too many mosquitoes again! Can you see them around Kaia's head, dozens of them!
So again, our loop inside the forest was a bit short and fast.
We then walked in the neighborhood and along the forest edge where it was a little better.
Later in the afternoon, we went for our second walk. Of course, I didn't want to deal with mosquitoes again, so a sunset walk towards the golf course sounded like a great idea. I know the sunset is kind of hidden on this photo, but somehow I really like it.
Of course, the idea was to find more views, especially more open ones.
Near the golf course entrance we can always find some of my favorite views.
Across the road we found a couple of deer, they were really close to the road. But I guess they're kind of used to it, as I very rarely see roadkill in this area.
One last sunset view before walking home.
On the way back, we saw more deer including this mother and her fawn. It looks like they're in that little swimming pool. But one thing for sure, can you see how the mother is protective, stomping with her front leg. We weren't very close but she was onto us!
And finally, as we walked the last blocks before home, we had a perfect view of the Moon. Full Moon should be soon now.
Between the heat and the mosquitoes, it's becoming difficult to walk in our forest, but we try and stay active. Saturday is my last chance to stay alive in the #poprzeczka competition but 35k steps ain't going to be easy!
As always, thanks for stopping by and see you tomorrow.
