As expected, the little snow we had was mostly gone yesterday. Disappointing but not surprising unfortunately, this is usually what happens with the first snow of the season. Look at how sad Le Chat was about it...
I forgot that for my company it was a day off for Veterans day. I had a few meetings though and had to work for a while. We still had enough time for a walk in the afternoon, starting behind the front yard as usual.
Even with most of the snow already melted, Kaia was still full of energy, running and jumping all over the place.
We didn't stay too long because we wanted to keep enough time in the bigger forest before one of my meetings later in the afternoon. While heading to the bigger forest, we found Le Chat in the front yard, apparently still not sure what she wanted to do, outside, inside, very tough choice...
We didn't wait for her to make up her mind, and quickly went to the forest.
Not more snow left out there unfortunately, just a little bit on some of broken trees.
And as usual, Kaia took the lead when she recognized the last part of the trails, and she brought us back home.
Well, that was kind of a slow day, especially when I realized it was actually a holiday. Too bad the snow is gone, let's see when we get more, hopefully very soon, although doubtful as temperatures are supposed to rise back up this week.
