I Went on a little holiday with my kids to my Aunt's place at Anambra state, Nigeria. Unknowing to us, we never knew She had a puppy at home and she never mentioned it to Us either.
On arrival, immediately we knocked at the door, We heard a dog barking and we were like, are we dreaming. The truth is that I don't like dogs, I take them as a harmful animal. I was so scared to enter the house, I was just imagining how I can cope, My Aunt told me she doesn't bite at all that she is playful that with time I will be used to the puppy.
She is a female dog and Her name is Callie, and her nike name is Ca Ca. She is beautiful and hairy that we couldn't see her eyes, but her hair was later treamed after a few days we arrived, so that we can see her lovely eyes then she took her bath too so that it's hairy skin can sparkle more. She loves milk so much, soup, rice, noodles and it's Almighty meat.
At first My eldest Son will call her Ca Ca, but when she comes closer he will be scared of the puppy, and my Son will tell her to go back and she will. With time He now follow his brother to play with Callie. While My younger Son first picked courage to call her name touch her and play freely with the puppy and they became friends, always together To the extent that Callie now hop on him, one day as one of her play, but my son was not happy of the action and start beating him whenever he comes around Him. at time they became friends again. But what I don't like is Callie leaking my Son's face. So I don't usually leave them together.
With time I and Ca Ca became familiar, At first I picked courage to be touching her head and body atimes and she loves that so much, so it make him come closer the more, and I don't also like the aspect of her leaking my legs, then I noticed she loves playing so much by hoping on someones body even when you are not in the mood for that, She usually welcome my Aunt by playing around and hoping on her body too but I get so scared of that action.
One Faithful day I was just sitting at the sitting room, the next thing Callie just hopped on me and sat down on my legs, I was so scared as if she came to hurt me, I just start touching his head and praying for her to leave, 🤣🤣 it was funny that day, but with time I got used to it, and through out our stay there Callie never hurt Us.
never in my life I taught I could ever leave with a dog in thesame house, but I learnt alot at my stay there. Callie made me to believe that puppy or dogs are friendly, they are not really harmful the way I taught and remove such fear from me whenever I see a dog 🐕.
