Day of 2025-07-26

The future creeps in quietly — until it vibrates on your Fitbit

There are mornings when you wake up, stretch, and feel the weather whisper, “Better run now, or you’ll regret it later.”
That was me yesterday. Out the door before the sky broke open, little sun shine and generally warm — legs pounding the trail thru the forest, air thick with pre-storm silence.
The forecast said rain. The clouds confirmed it later on. But I laced up anyway — not out of discipline, but instinct. That same instinct that makes you sell just before the dump or buy just before the pump (or at least wish you had).😅

Twenty minutes in, the first drops tapped my shoulders like polite warnings from the weather gods. No more sun.

Later there I was, towel around my neck, staring at internal market and $SOL.
Not a moonshot. Not a collapse. Just steady pressure like a dam about to leak. This isn’t $DOGE behavior. Put differently: it’s not dead. It’s coiled.

🛎️ The Fitbit Just Got Interesting

Now for the weird twist. As I refreshed my charts, my Fitbit buzzed.
Not for heart rate, not for steps.
For Fulfill — my order notification app. On my Fitbit.

Turns out Fitbit and Apple finally cracked open the gates. Their notification APIs are now showing all app messages, not just curated ones like Mail or Messages.
Translation?

I now get trading alerts on my wrist while I’m in motion.

And suddenly, my smartwatch stopped being a glorified pedometer and became a market radar. Or giving me an opportunity to stop the losses.

We're talking about direct-to-wrist trading intelligence — no exchanges, no charts, just a pulse on your literal pulse.

Have you heard the term "forever chemicals"? TBH, for me, it's for the first time. It has another name, PFAS! Looks like it is used in many everyday products, notably cleaning products, firefighting foam, food packaging, non-stick cookware, stain-resistant products, waterproof clothing, etc.

A new data analysis shows that this chemical could be a new causative factor for type 2 diabetes!!

Specifically, researchers found that every increase in PFAS exposure correlated with a 31% increase in type 2 diabetes risk.
